​David Forbes was faced with a man holidng a shotgun as he went on a family errand

A man who was blasted by a stranger with a shotgun whilst on a run to get fish and chips says he is still undergoing surgeries 18 months later.

David Forbes offered to go out to the fish and chip shop to get tea for his stepson whilst staying at his partner's home in Croxteth, Liverpool, on February 28 2025. However, when he left the terraced house on Cubert Road, David found himself staring down the barrel of a shotgun.
